DO YOU NEED PRINT ON YOUR CLOTHING? PLEASE READ THIS

In addition to offering a large selection of products (clothes and bags), we can also print or make embroidery on them.

There are many different printing methods, and sometimes one method is just as good as the other. We have a competent team in both the graphics office and the sales department, who together evaluate the jobs individually to choose the best method for your order. The method chosen depends on the product, the color of the product, the quantity, the motif and the number of colors in the print.

We can offer the following printing methods:

• Direct print
• Heat transfer
• Lithographic transfer
• Plotter print transfer
• Dye sublimation
• DTG (Direct To Garment)
• DIP (Digital Image Printing)

Read more about the different printing methods here.

When you choose to get your motif on the clothes, we have some points that need attention before you start your order.

1. What product, color and quantity.
2. The design of the motif.
3. The size of the print.
4. Colors in the print (Pantone Solid Coated).
5. Position of the print.
6. Correct graphics files.

PRODUCT, COLOR, AND NUMBER

Before you start a print order, you need to choose which product to print. It can be from our assortment or something you have bought from another supplier (read more about print on customer delivered goods here).

MOTIF

The motif is important when we choose the printing method. It can have many colors, gradients or small details that by choosing a particular printing method gives the best result. Whether the subject is a picture/image-like or a flat-color motif we can make a beautiful print when we choose the correct printing method.

PRINTING SIZE

It is important that you make some considerations about the size of the motif. It can be an advantage if you measure yourself or a colleague, or you can print the design on paper to get a feeling of the size. If you need inspiration for sizes, you can read about standard print sizes here.

If you have defined the size in advance, it is easier for our graphics to make the layout, which you must approve before we start to print your order. If you have changed your mind regarding the size, of course, it can be changed until the layout is approved.

COLORS

What colors should we use to print your design? Red is not just red, and therefore it is important that you define your colors. We have several standard colors that we recommend that you use.

If you have not defined the colors, we look in the file and give a suggestion. If you cannot find the right colors among our standard colors, we prefer that you define them with Pantone numbers, and we work with the Pantone Solid Coated model.

The color name and Pantone number are written on the layout and must also be approved by you before we start printing your order. If you have changed your mind regarding the choice of colors, of course, it can be changed until the layout is approved.

PLACEMENT

When choosing the placement of the print, the possibilities are many; front, chest, back, neck or sleeves that is standard placement. You may want a special placement, that is also okay. But it is important that you have made some considerations about the placement of the print.

If you define the placement of the print when you place the order, it is easier for the graphics to make the layout, which you must approve before we start printing your order. If you have changed your mind regarding the placement, of course, it can be changed until the layout is approved.

Read more about the standard placment here.

GRAPHIC FILES

In order to achieve the best print result, it is important that the files we receive are of a good quality.

The optimal file format for most printing methods is a vector graphic file where fonts are outlined. For some printing methods we can also use pixel graphics or bitmap, and here it is important that the file is 1:1 and in min. 300 dpi. The quality of the files defines the end result.
